Meet Your Inspector

My Name is Jonathan Kostiuk
Hello, I'm Jonathan, the owner and lead inspector at Precision Home Inspections. To me, a house is much more than walls and a roof—it's where families grow.
As a father of three and a husband, I understand that the safety of your home is paramount. That core belief is what drove me to transition from my career as an electrician into specialized home inspection. I wanted to use my expertise to directly protect families in my community.
With a deep background in residential construction and home automation, I bring a unique, highly technical eye to every inspection in the Saskatoon area. I know what's behind the drywall and exactly how your electrical and structural systems should safely operate. I strive to be the top inspector in our community by evaluating every single home with the exact same rigor I would use if my own family were moving in.
Outside of inspections, I’m a Red Seal journeyman electrician with 12 years of residential experience and a background in home automation, including systems like Control4 and Savant. I’ve worked with everything from Lutron lighting and automated shades to full home theater and multi-room audio setups. I’m also a member of the Saskatchewan Realtors Association (SRA), which provides secure lockbox access and verified credentials. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me enjoying technology, helping friends and neighbors with projects, or spending time with my family at the lake in the summer.
